Message from the director
Hello, everyone. I am Mayumi Okada, the director of Okada Primary Care Clinic.
Our clinic offers primary care and smart clinic services to address the various healthcare needs of the local community. We often hear from patients who are unsure about which department to visit or whether their symptoms require medical attention. Additionally, many express concerns about long waiting times and dislike being called out loudly due to privacy considerations. To address these issues, we promote the concept of a primary care physician who offers a wide range of services as the first point of contact for health-related problems.
At our clinic, we not only treat acute illnesses such as colds and gastroenteritis, but also support the prevention of lifestyle-related diseases and promote overall health maintenance. When necessary, we refer patients to specialists and value collaboration with local medical institutions. We place particular emphasis on preventive healthcare, supporting your well-being through health guidance, vaccinations, and dietary and exercise advice.
Furthermore, as a smart clinic, we have implemented a fully digitalized online consultation and reservation system. All medical records are electronic, and we use AI for image diagnostics to ensure more accurate and safer medical care. By handling online reception and payments, we reduce waiting times and alleviate the burden on patients. Shortening the time spent in the clinic also reduces the risk of infection.
As the director, I have experience as an emergency medicine specialist at Tokai University and will strengthen collaboration with local medical institutions, including various departments in Isehara City, to provide patients with reliable and compassionate healthcare. We also value our relationship with the Atsugi City Medical Association and actively participate in holiday and night-time clinics and health check-ups.
